Own a Piece of History: 1993 Porsche-Built Mercedes-Benz 500E - Elegance Redefined
UPDATE: Maxie was sold Oct 2nd 2024 for $65K. This meticulously maintained, garage-kept Mercedes-Benz 500E, a product of the legendary collaboration between Porsche and Mercedes-Benz, is a unique gem. Its engineering excellence and timeless design, showcased in the fantastic video about the collaboration, make it a standout in the classic car world.
As the third owner of this classic beauty, I've continued the legacy of care and attention it has received. I purchased bone stock from the renowned Bryant Kreaden, also known as the Car Shrink, who restored and sold it on behalf of a friend in LA, ensuring it received the care it deserved.
This vehicle remains a testament to timeless elegance, now enhanced with AMG monoblocks, an updated Flieben/Leistung Ahutohaus exhaust kit, and, most importantly, the stunning EURO headlights and blinkers. When this car was initially designed, US regulations mandated sealed beam headlights, forcing Mercedes to alter the front lights and detract from its intended elegance. With the EURO headlights, it has reclaimed its authentic design, showcasing the beauty Mercedes initially envisioned.
This is your opportunity to own a truly unique and refined piece of automotive art. You can take advantage of this chance to experience the perfect blend of classic charm and modern upgrades. The completed masterpiece is ready for its next chapter with a discerning owner.
This Group of Photos was taken in July 2024 by Kurt Bradley to capture the updated EURO front lights, EURO wipers, and EURO front blinkers, as well as the corrected 500E logo on the rear trunk lid installed in the correct location.
Kurt Bradley took these photos in 2023 after I did the exhaust system, window tint, AMG mono-block wheels, and tires.
